Schedule and AssignmentsWelcome to Algebra! This course will begin your journey into the mysterious, powerful world of mathematics. Along the way you will discover why the study of algebra was forbidden by the church in the dark ages, and begin to speak, read and write in the language of math, the only truly global language in the world, used in their scientific endeavors by all mathematicians and scientists the world over. In a very real sense, it will offer you a peak into their world, and I think you'll find it not nearly as difficult and mysterious as you imagined, but fascinating nonetheless. I think you will be glad you took this class.
