Question: Is our spring a Hooke's Law Spring? (Is the Force applied proportional to the distance stretched?
Deliverable:

1. A relationship between force (F) and distance stretched (Dx) for a spring supplied. Express F as a function of Dx.

2. If F is proportional to Dx, find the proportionality constant (the slope of the F vs Dx line.)


Part II. Measurement- T vs L


Question: Is the period (T) of a pendulum proportional to it's length?
Deliverable:

1. A relationship between period (T) and length (L) of a pendulum. Express T as a function of L.
2. If T is proportional to L , what is the constant of proportionality , (the slope of the T vs L line)?
