1. The ideal gas law says the pressure of a gas on its container walls depends on the temperature of the gas. Please explain why this is.



2.Estimate the number of gas molecules in one cubic meter of air in the physics lab on an average day.




3. The ideal gas law can be written either as PV = nRt or as PV = NkT. Explain the difference between the n and the N and between k and R. Suggest problems for which each of these versions of the law are best.
